Key Risk Scores Included
EP Predict incorporates several well-established calculators, each designed to assess specific health risks:
- QR4 – Estimates an individual's risk of developing cardiovascular disease over a lifetime®. It includes additional factors beyond QRISK3 and uses a competing mortality risk within the model
- QRISK3® – Estimates an individual's 10-year risk of developing cardiovascular disease. It considers factors such as age, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, smoking status, and medical history to guide prevention strategies.
- QRISK3-lifetime® – Estimates an individual's risk of developing cardiovascular disease over a lifetime. It uses the same factors as QRISK3 but uses a competing mortality risk within the model
- Oesophageal cancer – Estimates an individual's risk of developing oesophageal cancer in the next 10 years using some standard factors as well as some conditions known to increase the risk. One of the 'CanPredict' models
- QDiabetes® – Calculates the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. It uses demographic and clinical information to help identify individuals who may benefit from lifestyle changes or further testing.
- QFracture® – Assesses the likelihood of bone fractures due to falls, particularly in older adults. It supports decisions around bone health monitoring and preventive care.
These calculators are available in multiple formats to suit different needs:

- Standalone modules in .NET and Java for embedding in applications
- Free-to-use online web calculators
- Locally hosted versions for embedding in secure web platforms
